Dr. Jonathan Reichental served as the chief information officer (CIO) for O'Reilly Media, publishers of computer technology–related books and websites and sponsors of technology conferences. In late 2010, Dr. Reichental led an effort to develop a three-year IT strategy to provide a framework for the company's push into the future.

- Read the entries above and consider O'Reilly Media's implementation of IT governance and the interim report card article.
- Discuss the IT strategy that O'Reilly Media chose to implement and whether you believe that it successfully addresses the goals of IT governance and business alignment. Has O'Reilly Media considered all of the stakeholders in this scenario? What changes or additions might you have made if you were in Dr. Reichental's position? Do you believe Dr. Reichental is communicating the importance of IT governance with his blog posts?
