NOTE: The attached data file has an informative header row that should be removed before actually using this file. It is there to describe the fields to users of the file so that proper data structure choices may be made.Read data from the attached file, one record at a time. Run data validation tests to check for internal consistency of the data. You may decide which things you want to check, just make sure that you are testing each record for at least four different things. The key will be that you include with your project submission a detailed Word document (named firstNamelastNamePA3.doc) that completely describes the tests you are running and the methodolgy you are using. Additionally, include with your project submission your program (named firstNamelastNamePA3.cpp) that is well-documented and tested. To properly test your program you should "corrupt" the data file with known inconsistencies to make sure your program catches them.Your program should output (to a file named validationReport.txt) the results of the testing of each record as you finish with that record and before you read the next record. Make sure that your output file makes sense to someone who is reading about the results of your testing. The due date is 10/11/13 @11:59 pm. You have only one submission opportunity so MAKE SURE THAT BOTH FILES ARE ATTACHED before submitting. No late sunmissions are likely to be accepted. This is an individual project. We will test your program against a different data file with the same name RecStats.txt. It is critical that you include your detailed write-up Word document so that we know what your program is looking for in the data.
