Now that you have finished the lectures on interpersonal attraction, revisit the personal ad that you wrote earlier (list of traits and qualities that describes my ideal romantic partner)

Write a paragraph or two in which you analyze the contents of your personal ad by relying on social psychological predictors of interpersonal attraction.  For instance, what do you look for in an ideal romantic partner – Similarity?  Familiarity?  Physical attractiveness?  Good financial prospects?  Which theory discussed in this module does the best job of explaining what attracts you to others?  (For this question, be sure to stick with theories of attraction here; do not discuss theories of investment, commitment, or communication in relationships.)  Do you think your mate preferences are consistent with what evolutionary theory (parental investment theory) would predict?  Are your mate preferences consistent with what feminist theories would predict?  Why or why not?  In your writing, please shoot for a word count of roughly 250-350 substantive words. 

***The theories of attraction that you may use are: proximity, familiarity and mere exposure, similarity and partner homogamy, physical attractiveness and the halo effect, reproductive fitness, symmetry, evolutionary theory (parental investment theory), and the feminist approach.
