1) Your assignment will need to be about 2 typed pages, (or perhaps a bit longer if you like)

2) You will discuss your individual bill/policy proposal using the factors/concepts from the "democracy matrix"

3) After discussing these factors and how they apply to your bill, you will place your bill in the most appropriate "quadrant" of the democracy matrix, and you should be sure to explain WHY you judge this quadrant to be the most accurate placement for your bill policy proposal, and why other quadrants would not be the best fit for your bill

4) After you place your bill in its quadrant, you will discuss what this placement means for the most effective strategies/tactics that could be used in advocating for your policy proposal (check Blackboard discussion board forum in particular for extra reading to help with this item #4). You will discuss considerations of the best tactics for success of your bill such as lobbying versus public demonstrations, using social media and other methods for raising awareness of your topic with the voting public.
