Coach Nickson here. It’s been a long time. I wanted you to know that I’m coaching a talented team of ball players here in your old school. We’re hoping to go to provincials, just as you did many years ago. We’re having a training camp in April, as soon as the grass dries up enough for us to get onto the diamonds, and we were hoping you could design a training camp and run it one weekend before your season starts up. This team could really use some guidance from one of the best ball players in Canada today. You’ve done well with the Blue Jays for the last two seasons. Nice catch you made against the San Diego Padres last season. You know the one. You made your old school here in Edmonton proud! The kids look up to you your jersey still hangs in the rafters of the old gym here. Might be nice for you to return to your old stomping grounds for a couple of days. We’d provide you with a place to stay and all the pizza you want from Joe’s. (Now that’s an offer you can’t refuse.) Anyway, let me know what you think.
