Org Struc. Sim. Paper

Hello,

You will be using the attached zip folder to write a paper based on a business simulation.  Once you download the zip folder, you must extract or unzip the whole folder to your computer.  Then you simply click on the folder, then press on the folders and files that I have labeled to reach the simulation.  The simulation is an organizational structure simulation which is interactive in providing real-time answers to choices to business decisions.  The following paper is to be written based off the simulation experiences.  Again, this paper is to be written based off the simulation in the zip file posted, not on other related things.  It has to come from the simulation, and I will check to make sure you actually used the simulation and not other things.  Once you complete the simulation (which only takes a few minutes, the assignment is as follows:

I've got a couple of different assignments this week that might be of interest to you.  I will post them both in the main section like always, but again I will only give them to you if you are interested.

The main assignment  is the Org Struc Sim Paper.  To complete this, it is a lot easier than that Powtoon from a couple of weeks ago.  What I will do is post a download to a zip folder to get to the simulation.  Once you download the zip folder, unzip it all onto your computer.  Then click on the top folders that say "Click Here", then "A-Part-Click Here".  Then you can complete the simulation.  After completing the simulation, you are simply writing the paper based on it.  Here is the assignment:

Use your experience with Synergetic Solutions Simulation. (Downloaded zip folder/must be unzipped on computer)

Prepare a 1,200 word internal report to management concerning the change that is occurring at Synergetic Solutions.

Write an analysis of the issues involved in this simulation. Include the following:

• What are the sources of conflict at Synergetic?
• How can managers effectively address this conflict?  
• What factors does a leader in this organization need to implement change successfully?
• What kinds of resistance might the leader expect to see in Synergetic Solutions?
• Identify and explain at least five kinds of resistance.
• What strategies might you employ to manage each of these areas of resistance?
