ou are a leader in a global organization and have been asked to make a presentation to the Board of Directors about the importance of a diversity-conscious organization.

Create an  10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation.

Identify the following:

• The characteristics of diversity-conscious leaders
• The differences between individualistic and collectivistic societies when communicating globally, including virtual communication
• How technological changes influence diversity in leadership
• How to improve diversity consciousness within the workplace Note. Offer specific steps/strategies for improvement.

Include a concluding slide with a list of reference materials used from the text or outside sources.

Optional - Enable the text-to-speech feature on your presentation for Online and Directed Study students. 

Present the Leader of a Global Organization Presentation and answer questions from your instructor or classmates.

• For Local Campus students, these are oral presentations accompanied by Microsoft® PowerPoint® slides.
• For Online and Directed Study students, these are Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentations with notes.

Format your assignment according to appropriate course level APA guidelines.

PowerPoint Rubrics

Content and Organization                            65%

First slide - Title Slide. Come up with a nice title, add your name and class information.

Second slide - Introduction slide - gives us the three points you will discuss in your presentation.

Third through final slides - Body of your PP will be at least 3 to 5 or more slides - each slide will discuss one of the three points from your introduction.

Research slide and APA formatting                               10%

You will have at least 3 scholarly and credible references both in the presentation and on a reference slide which is after the conclusion.

Design, color and font                                          10%

Make sure your design is easy to read and follow with images and bullet points. Being too creative can sometimes take away from your PP. Make it professional with good content.

Use bullet points and short sentences. Do not have large blocks of text, that is too hard to read for the audience. Have an easy to view design and color. Be sure your font is readable and is consistent throughout the PP.

Images                                                  5%

Have at least 5 images that aid with your message and do not take away from the readability. It is good to have a combination of pictures and content such as graphs.

Speakers notes or voiceover - 5%

Please submit either speaker's notes with your full speech or do a voiceover. Both are graded with EQUAL value. 

Preparation and follow directions                                              5%

Your presentation shows the preparation and that you read and followed all directions.
