What does "terrorism" mean to you and what connections do you have to this concept? Think about everything you have learned or been exposed to on this topic prior to this class. 

Clearly it has to do with violence....and is often connected with guns and shootings. But as we are learning in this module - there are other forms of terrorism around the world including those that involve weapons such as bombs and bio-threats. Those of us that were around in 2001 remember 9/11 and the World Trade Center bombings as the most horrific act of terrorism that has ever occurred in our country....but many of you are too young to remember that event.
