Part 2: ESSAY (50 points): a response, in the form of a well-organized, well-structured essay (not a paragraph) to the question below. Use 350 wrds or more. MLA is NOT required for this part of the exam. Your skills in grammar, sentence structure, organization, essay structure, and the development of ideas (use of supporting details, examples, etc.) will be considered in the grading of your essay. 

Lance Morrow and Jim Holt have each written works in which they suggest that we can learn a lot about ourselves from looking at the jokes or the photographs we consider meaningful, which we enjoy, or with which we identify. Describe clearly and fully the points each one makes about what we learn in such instances, and express your opinion of these authors' notions.
