Marco:
My name is Marco Fiorentino and I live in Orlando, FL. I am the founder of a Christian, not for profit martial arts organization. My goal is to accomplish our long-term vision for national expansion from our current three locations.
I have almost always worked in an entrepreneurial environment - more than three decades worth. Nonroutine skills have served me well in these situations as abstract reasoning and the ability to experiment are critical when you are trying to create something new that doesn't exist and equip others to be successful within this new area. I believe that I also have experience developing efficient systems and my leadership style is definitely a collaborative one.
I certainly think these skills are "marketable," though I'm not sure I will ever test that theory outside my current organization. :)
I look forward to learning and growing during this class!
