The objective of the study was to identify if the number of days a patient survived was influenced by the organ affected. Our dependent variable is Survival measured in days. Our independent variable is Organ. The data is available at http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/DASL/Datafiles/CancerSurvival.html. Run a one-way ANOVA to determine whether there are differences in mean survival times, and report your results. Then check the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. If either is violated, re-run your analysis with a transformed response variable. Don't forget to check the assumptions of the transformed model.
