Currently my organisations attempt to hire a diverse group of people. We currently have people raining in diversity from blindness, confined to a wheel chair, various ethic backgrounds, and from different cultures working at my organisation. However these groups of people represent a small percent of the overall workforce. Due to the fact that many people in our local community are not diverse the organisation should seek to work with colleges and universities from out of the area and offer internships to culturally diverse people. This will help increase diversity on the firm and allow others to experience a more diverse culture, which can help lead to organisational increases in performance.
