Describe the three energy systems in the body, and how they are used for energy production.

To generate ATP, the body uses three different mechanisms. These systems operate in concert, but the amount of contribution each system makes is determined by the type, intensity, and duration of the workout. To generate ATP, the body uses three different mechanisms. Each system contributes depending on the sort of exercise, duration, and intensity of the activity. They include:

  1. ATP

Every cell in your body, including your muscles, contains the chemical compound Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which is produced as a result of the energy your diet provides. The breakdown of this molecule provides cells with the energy they need to function.

  1. Glycolysis

An anaerobic process that breaks down sugars chemically to produce ATP is known as anaerobic digestion.

  1. CP

In the body, creatine phosphate facilitates the breakdown of ATP, which is a chemical molecule found in muscle tissue. Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and CP can be combined to produce ATP (Adenosine triphosphate).
