Please generate an initial take on what you want to write about for your term paper. The intent here is to get you started, by asking you to generate a one or two page idea statement, supported by at least one good source that you will use in the final paper.

1. Review the Term Paper assignment.
2. Look for and review documents and sources that will provide you with information to complete the project.
3. Submit a 1-2 page summary of the topic you have chosen for your term paper. Include at least one reference on the subject that you expect to use when writing the final paper. Submit this in this assignment drop box.

Remember, I am looking for your opinions on the future of your chosen area of interest. I do not want or need a lot of background and history, but some background is essential for setting the context of the paper.

You do not have to stay with the topic you propose here, since many people find that their ideas change as they research their topic. I will use my feedback on these submissions to help you refine your topic, possibly propose additional sources you might find interesting, or to redirect you if you are headed in a direction that may be more difficult to handle. The latter might happen if you choose a topic that is too broad and has too much information to grasp for this assignment, or if you choose one that is too new to have many resources available to support your efforts.

This full paper is due at the beginning of the final week of class and you will probably be asked to present an abstract of it in class. The goal is for all of us to learn something of what you have learned about the future of the ICT industry.
