Please, submit between 1500-2000 words Essay discussing War and Trauma in Palestinian and Sudanese Women literature and films. Include in your paper a thorough reading or Hanan Habashi's short story " L for Life" and The Palestinian Film "The Dupes" , South Sudanese short story "Zero" and notes from the Sudan panel. The distribution of your final grade will be as follows. 

15 Clear Introduction and thesis statement 

20% for L for Life ( please document your thesis by quoting from the text-do not just paraphrase. For example, if you say "Hanan Habashi expresses the importance of maintaining hope and resilience  in as a self healing in times of war", follow your sentence with a proof of this statement such as " the dialogue between the little girl and her auntie Karama in her search for Thaer and his destiny is an indicative of a journey for hope. The little girl felt "life takes work", ..etc.

10 % for The Sudan Panel themes 

15 % clear concluding paragraph that summarizes your argument and your findings in your essay
