Chapter 11: (RAP) p.g. (151-162)
Each student must make at least one class presentation on The Pact: Three Young Men Make a Promise and Fulfill a Dream by Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt.
- Identify which of the three authors is responsible for the information in the chapter or section you have selected.
- Provide a brief summary (2-3 sentences) of what happens in the chapter or section you have selected. In particular, you should identify the important events that it describes.
- Identify at least one person (other than the two other doctors who co-wrote the book) who plays a prominent role in this chapter or section. Explain how or why this person is important or relevant to the story of the three doctors.
- Locate one “Golden Line” in the chapter or section you have selected. A Golden Line should be a portion of the chapter or section (1-2 sentences) that you found interesting or important. It should be a memorable and significant idea in the chapter or section, not just a minor detail. You must explain why you think this passage is important or significant.
