Hello I am having trouble with threads. For project 4 of my computer programming course, we are supposed to assign threads to a job object. Each job should be assigned a jprogressbar and run concurrently with all other jobs. I have already sought help on this subject and still my input text file does not show any jprogressbar. Another issue I am having is with thread resource pools. Attached are the input file I want to read in (SeaPortInputData2), some code (SeaPortProgramThread.zip), and the project 4 description (Project 4.pdf). What I want to do is this:
1. Read Job specifications from a data file and adding the required resources to each Job instance.
2. Resource pools - SeaPort.ArrayList <Person> list of persons with particular skills at each port, treated as resource pools, along with supporting assignment to ships and jobs.
3. Job threads - using the resource pools and supporting the concept of blocking until required resources are available before proceeding.
