Your assignment this week is to analyze a fingerprint as if you were a Latent Print Examiner. Click on Project 2 below and a fingerprint will appear. Project 2 image 

Identify characteristics in the print such as pattern type, pores, Galton characteristics, scars, incipient ridges, and ridge shapes.  Mark and label these characteristics carefully.The assignment can be completed by either marking the print in Microsoft word by using arrows and text box tools or scan the labeled print as a jpg file and download in the project under assignments.There is no written assignment.  All identifying features are to be labeled on the fingerprint image as you would label and exhibit for court.
