The city is famous because it is the birthplace of Babe Ruth the baseball player, and fans can visit a museum which has been established to celebrate his sporting achievements. There are many other museums also, including a Toy Museum and several on the theme of Black American History, including a “National Great Blacks in Wax Museum.” The city boasts several locations which are important in the history of jazz.
