Provide a 3 pages analysis while answering the following question: Impact of Slavery in Virginia. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. The period of war brought an opportunity for many slaves to get freed without formal emancipation. The eagerness of Britain to debase the economy in their colonies leads to freeing of many slaves who accepted to fight in the American cause (Taylor, 2013). The revolutionary sentiments rose and provided the pressure that would later lead to the release of slaves from bondage and forced labor. The war of the independence for Americans further contributed to the release of slaves during this period.

The internal enemies referred in the title of Tylor’s book were the slaves of Virginia. Their story is well told by Tailor in the fight for independence. A war that made the British government officers promise freedom for the slaves who managed to flee their bondage and escaped their rebellious owners. These slaves were encouraged to enlist in the Forces. These slaves were instrumentally a significant resource to Britain during this war. Their understanding of the surrounding countryside of Virginia made it necessary for them to be enlisted with the forces because the invaders did not have an understanding of the countryside (Taylor, 2013). As such they would provide a counter war that would defeat the invaders. Thus the British war effort found the escaping slaves very crucial to them.

Soon, the British officers were taking steps to emancipate the whole slave families that had taken advantage of the American Revolution to free themselves in Canada and the Caribbean.
