Q1: If the people in a democracy decide what rights are "natural" then are there rights that are inherent in nature/granted by "God," or are they made up by mankind?

Q2: If rights come from nature/"God," how do we know what those rights are? Where are they defined, delineated and explained?

Q3: If rights come from nature/"God," can government take them away? Can a government grant rights that do not come from nature/"God?" When a democratic majority votes to take rights away, is there any recourse by an individual affected by the loss of rights?
