As a project manager, you may encounter team members, consultants, contractors, or influential stakeholders who are difficult to work with. While each conflict will be different, there are project management tools you can use to rectify a situation. By acting as a problem solver and successfully managing conflict, you can create an environment that is conducive to working toward a common goal as a unit.

• Without identifying the individual by name, describe a time when you had to work with a difficult person to complete a professional or personal project. How was the difficult person impacting the project?
