The current (old) airport has outdated IT system. For example, the flight database, flight gate scheduling, incoming aircraft registration are on different operating systems.  The airport has not centralized IT management system.  And, airport’s website and social network are all very old and not meeting the needs of the current market needs. The network connection in the airport are based one very slow data communication networks. The power supply of the airport IT system was not updated based on the demand, therefore there were computer shutdowns because of the weak electrical power distribution system which effects the calculation of the flight departure times. One of the problems that happens is miss-calculation of the flight departure times. Passengers are complaining about wrong flight departure times on the website and the on the TV Screens in the airport.

Draw a Cause & Effect (a.k.a. Fishbone/Ishikawa) diagram for a problem mentioned above (i.e. miss-calculation of the flight departure times) . You should include a main bone to represent the problem, sub-bones to indicate possible reasons for the problem, and horizontal sub-bones to indicate possible causes. Does the diagram help clarify the problem? How? How can the diagram be used to solve the problem?
