Critically discuss whether you agree with the following statement: 

“Information flows within supply chains (and between supply chain stakeholders) should be suppressed as much as possible so as to maximize the added value of products when they move along the supply chain process” (i.e., from raw materials to end-users)

You should critically discuss the above statement based on supply chain theories and real-world examples. Also, you should explain and justify why you (do not) agree with the statement. In the case that you do not agree with the statement, you should also propose how, and to what extent, information flows should be encouraged along supply chains.
