Question:Terrorism will continue to threaten our national security as long as our borders continue to let anyone cross without being intercepted. Law enforcement agencies across the nation and specifically those that are border states both northern and southern border continue to fight a difficult task of keeping potential terrorists from entering the US. 

What type of strategies do think can be employed to counter this threat? 

The US southern border in particular is controlled by Mexican drug cartels and work together with terrorist organizations to smuggle them into the US.

What type of resources can be used in addition to increased manpower to slow the flow of illegal entry and drugs into the United States? Please explain in great detail!
