First, preview your textbook by reviewing “Brief Contents.” Second, scan the detailed “Contents.” Third, find two subtopics (in CAPITAL LETTERS in “Contents”) that are of interest to you and read about them in depth.  Now, relate these topics to your experience.  In your original post, for each of the two subtopics:
