Reading newspapers from other countries can shed light on differing views on international events and also help to gain insight on how the rest of the world views the United States.  Find a foreign newspaper (online) and read through the daily news and the letters to the editor.  Focus on the news that’s relevant in that country AND also on the country’s opinions of news specific to the United States.  In your paper, tell me what you found, comment on what you found and make connections to what you’ve learned in class. Prompts:  you can address any of the stumbling blocks that have been discussed, culture bumps, face saving, cultural orientations, etc, etc. Write two pages please.
