Reflection Paper #3

For this paper, you will be directed to respond to a specific question or set of questions located below.  This will require critical thought and application of your own thoughts and values to an interpersonal communication topic.

The paper should be 1-2 pages, typed, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman font.  Please save your paper in .doc or .docx format to ensure your instructor can open it easily.  To understand how your instructor will grade this paper, see the attached Reflection Paper Rubric.  The rubric is also available in the Course Rubrics folder under the "Resources" tab.

Reflection Paper #3 Topic/Prompt

Why do you think so many people laugh at jokes that put down other people?  Can a joke be funny even if you find it distasteful?  Have you used humor in this way yourself?  Do you feel that it's appropriate?  Explain why or why not.
