Reflexive writing offers students the opportunity to participate as a subject in their own writing and to incorporate their own experiences and feelings into academic writing. 

Reflect on why you have you chosen to pursue studies (or hope to) in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. Reflect on your academic and professional goals and discuss how your goals are going to be accomplished. What academic knowledge and skills do you think are important to realising your goal(s)?  Reflect on the value and importance of our field (all 3 degrees: Bachelors of Kinesiology, athletic therapy, physical education) and your specific degree,

(I'm in Bachelors of Kinesiology and i plan on becoming a chiropractor in future (long term goal). Right after my bachelors i plan to look for jobs like fitness advisor, fitness trainer)

·         Write a 1500-2000 word reflection paper that considers the questions noted above.

·         Your assignment should be double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font.

Evaluation

·         Reflections will be evaluated based upon students’ engagement with reflexive writing (i.e., their willingness to be thoughtful about the questions noted above), but the nature of student self-reflections will not be judged.

·         Marks will be deducted for poor spelling, syntax, and grammar.
