What is meant by sacred time and sacred space? How do these ideas function within and for a religion? Be sure to illustrate your discussion with specific descriptions.

In producing this chart, I strongly recommend that you have four or five complete sentences in each section of the chart. I suggest you give me any THREE of the following items in each section. I want different things to explain the religion - do not just write of one thing (like one feast, or one belief, etc). 

1. ORIGINATION section: Always give the approximate dates this religion was started. Who was the founder or the important prophets of this religion? What experience did he have with God? What do they believe about creation? Give a story about this religion. (Always give proper citation with reference at the bottom)

2. BELIEFS: What does this religion believe about God or gods? Give the name of one or some of them. What are their Scriptures/sacred writings? What do they believe about evil and good? What are their moral values? What does this religion believe about the afterlife? What special beliefs do they have? (Always give proper citation with reference at the bottom).

3. PRACTICES: Explain a festival or holy day. What commandments or standard of morality do they follow? How do they worship? What rite of passage or rituals do they observe? (Always give proper citation with reference at the bottom)

4. SACRED PLACES: What region of the world has many worshipers of this religion? Name a famous temple or worship site. What sacred things do worshipers use? (Always give proper citation with reference at the bottom)

All sources must be properly cited, including the text.  ALWAYS cite your sources.  If it is not your original idea it MUST be cited.  If you re-word or summarize from another source it MUST be cited.
