I think you did a very nice job of summing up the forum this week. I found it interesting how you brought it from just being a choice of transportation to choices that everyone faces in every day life. Some of the points you made were cost, speed and reliability. Cost and reliability are probably two of the biggest factors when making a choice of transportation. A company does not want to pay an arm and a leg to have their goods delivered but that also want to make sure they make it there in tact. Depending on the product and the demand would bring in the speed factor. Do you think most companies who ship perishable goods would choose to use air freight?
