My top reason why a smart home is beneficial to the society is due to better quality of life. The convenience it brings, increased comfort and peace of mind knowing you have additional measure to ensure yours and your family’s safety. Moreover, better management of daily simple task in your home even if you are miles away. For all of this, it helps better the society’s quality of life. The harmful effect to society is technology takes control of life. Yes, it is convenient but are we too dependent on it. The younger generation do not know a life without technology, and some are even addicted to it. Decisions has to be made as to how much are we willing to be controlled by technology.
