Press Conference + Brexit 

  • (10%) Posing as a financial news reporter, each student would need to come up with 20 questions in a simulated mock press conference setting with Boris Johnson. The quality of the questions will be assessed based on:
    • Breath of research as represented in the range of questions prepared
    • Questions that can generate responses that are of news value
  • (10%) Rotating in turns as financial news reporter and Boris Johnson (Prime Minister of UK), ask  ONE question to Boris and Boris to Answer ONE answer based on what you have prepared.  If you did not prepare for the right answer, you have to improvise an answer on the spot. 

Marks are rated based on the newsworthiness of the questions and the quality of the answers to cater for scenarios that might happen before the Brexit deadline of 31 Oct 2019.
