PSA PROJECT:Violence on the Land, Violence on our Bodies – Public ServiceAnnouncement (PSA) assignment (20%)Due: Friday June 2 by 11:59pmStudents will write a public service announcement (PSA) based on the Violenceon the Land, Violence on our Bodies report toolkit published through apartnership of Native Youth Sexual Health Network and Women’s Earth Alliance.

The PSA should have three main parts:1) primary focus – what is the PSA about?2) something to draw listener/reader/watcher in, a.k.a. a “hook”3) a call-to-action

Creativity is encouraged for this assignment! For this PSA, students should picka mode of delivery: radio hit, TV spot, poster, video, etc. Choosing a medium willhelp provide context for your PSA. We will review examples of PSAs in class.Students are expected to cite at least 2 academic sources in addition to theViolence on the Land report. One specific section of the course textbook can beused as one of the two academic sources. A Works Cited/Bibliography pageshould appear at the end of your assignment.

The PSA project will be graded using the following rubric:
