Research Methods Criminal Justice
Directions: Imagine that you are conducting a school campus and safety survey to undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). You are interested in obtaining background information (i.e., demographics) from each student, as well as questions that tap into their deviance, victimization experiences, and perception of safety while on campus, as well as attitudes towards campus safety policies, procedures, and effectiveness. Develop 10 questions that cover many of these interests and demographics. Keep in mind that only four of the questions or items can tap into demographics or background of UC Berkeley undergraduate students. Please follow guidelines and information discussed in Chapter 7, as it pertains to writing or constructing surveys, especially questions.
