In the simplest terms, "humanism" refers to how Greek and Roman literature -- and literature in that tradition -- puts the human experience at the center of events.
Throughout the semester we've looked at many pieces of literature: The Iliad, The Odyssey, Sapphic poetry, Lysistrata, and several other readings from your text. So as you revisit these readings, think about how they focus on the "Human experience." For example, in Saphhic poetry, her words reflect the human emotion at the rawest level...
