RESEARCH PAPER ON LABORATORY PROCEDURE/TECHNIQUE

You are required to research and write a report on a new laboratory procedure, serological, diagnostic test/technique used in a microbiology/medical laboratory, or commercial/industrial process that we have not performed in our lab exercises.  The report should be 50 lines long, word processed/typed, double-spaced with standard margins, and font size 12.  At least 2 references (other than your textbook) should be use to research and write the report, properly referenced throughout the paper, and a bibliography page using the APA 6th ed. format included at the end. Be careful of plagiarism.  The rule of thumb is any sentence that you use 5 or more words from the author’s work, must be properly cited within the text.  Example:  (Smith, 2003).  Use APA 6th ed. format to write the reference page at the end of your report.  The library has a complete reference and examples of how to use the proper APA 6th ed. reference format.  This assignment is worth 20 points and is due the last week of classes.
