Research Paper Outline Assignment Instructions

You will create a short, working, informal outline of how you plan to formulate your Research Paper.  Please note that the outline should be a working outline meaning that it is a beginning point for your research paper.  In the final version of your paper, you may deviate somewhat from the original outline that you turn in.

The outline should include the following:

-        Your chosen topic/issue (must be related to teaching and learning)

-        Historical summary of the topic (in bulleted, short-phrased format)

-        Current research of the topic (in bulleted, short-phrased format)

-        A list of at least 10 resources (both Christian and secular), stated in current APA format, that you plan to use for your paper; further, 5 of these resources must be from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals that would be found in databases such as Academic Search Complete, ERIC (Ebsco), or Education Research Complete. The resources must have been published within the last 5 years.
