Research ProposalThe topic that i picked on this paper is gay marriage. The sources that are you in this paper have to be academic peer reviewed source.

In a minimum 3 page paper, you will need to explain the research work that you plan on doing throughout the remaining portion of the semester. You will need to address the following issues:

• What is your research question? That is, what is the controversial issue you intend to explore. Define it completely, including what your initial take is on it and why there is a controversy.
• What do you know about this issue? What is your prior experience with this issue? Have you researched it before? Have you dealt with it first hand? Is it something that you have limited experience or knowledge of? 
• Why have you chosen this issue?
• What questions will be guiding your research? What factors will you be looking at to help you form your opinion?  
• Why is this issue significant?
• What, if any, concerns do you have about writing this paper? These could be concerns related to your topic or the actual writing and research of the paper, but you should also include a discussion of what you need to learn.

The Structure of the paper

1. The paper should begin with a description of the issue and where you think you stand.
2. Next talk about where you expect to get your information (be specific, name authors and articles)
   1. Briefly summarize a few articles you intend to use being sure to mention the author and the source. You will also need to properly cite the sources
3. Next be honest about what you still need to learn in order to complete your research.
4. You will want to end your paper with a conclusion detailing what you hope to prove in your final paper.

This assignment will lead directly to your major research (inquiry) assignment where you will look at a number of articles both favoring and opposing your stated position.
