A company that has an international presence that i'm familiar with is Red Bull. This well known energy drink company has been around globally for around 25 years and has created a large brand utilized in many different avenues. The vast majority of the advertising done across the world is more through sponsorship and/or word of mouth than the many ways of advertising like television ads, etc. This large company has a huge following of people that love the drink and use it for basic energy increasing measures or they drink it with alcoholic beverages. This drink however has been looked at in a harmful way as well, as it has been associated with heart problems, diabetes, and other medical problems. This drink has also become an interest to young adults and children which has also possibly led to health complications. With that, this company has to face regulations on this product in many different ways across the world. Some countries may encourage the consumption while others may try to ban the import of the product to their country. Also, as a drink product this company has to go through hoops with the FDA over the safety of the ingredients used in the product.
