There are many types of illustration that are used by researchers to enhance their research papers. One of the most popular type include bar charts, and graphs. One of the example in which researcher use graphs is qualitative journals. It is one of the most common journal which include variety of graphs, charts, maps, and drawings. These additions allow the researcher to make the research more illustrative. These graphs allow the user to understand the concepts better and make the data visually more appealing (Siegel at el., 2016). This provides a better summary to users which makes it easier to understand it. Now this illustrative technique allows the researcher to make the paper more attractive. Presentation can be enhanced by a great margin when it is used in qualitative journal. Now majority of time these tables and graphs are included in result section as it can allow the researcher to explain their findings and provide a comparison to other findings. Results are better explained with comparison that is the reason it is included majorly in result section. Graphs are major strength of paper which makes it more descriptive and provide a better analysis.

Childhood obesity.

The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey shows trends in obesity in youth ages 2-19 years with a rate of 18.5 percent from 1999-2000 through 2015-2016. It shows that the rates vary among different age groups wile rates increasing with age as well as that the obesity rate in children remains higher than they were a generation ago, however, though the rates remain high they have slowed down in the recent years. This information is depicted by using a line graph while a bar chart is used to show the rate between gender and Ethnicity which shows that non-Hispanic black girls tend to be more overweight than that of non-Hispanic white girls while the Hispanic boys are showing a higher obesity rate than the others. Stating that obesity rates are higher among Latino children (25.8%) and Black Children (22%) than among White children (14.1%) and Asian children (11%). Latino boys are 28 percent and black girls are 25.1 percent are most likely to have obesity. The research also shows that children age 2-4 that are enrolled in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children (WIC) shows a significant decrease in obesity from 2010 (15.9%) to 2014 14.5 percent which was caused by providing WIC recipients with more healthy food options. Understanding the obesity rate among children and adults allows health officials and state representatives to place state policies requiring licensed ECE programs to allow and encourage onsite breastfeeding, set a definition for physical activity in ECE settings, provide drinking water, healthy eating policies, as well as laws linking to the children and adult care food program. This knowledge helps states regulate physical education requirements in Elementary school, high school, and middle school as well as other programs to help with healthy eating and lifestyles such as healthy food financing funding.

The Graphs make it easier to understand the obesity rate in children as well as adults along with other health issues that are related to obesity. The graphs and charts are easy to understand and read. Which allows each state to easily understand the information to enact laws and regulations for children in school as well as families enrolled in the WIC program or the SNAP Program. However, I believe that if the states study the rates in-depth then the SNAP program would not allow families to purchase snacks, junk, sodas. Since it is for the use of helping needed families to be able to purchase healthy food items such as the higher expensive fruits and vegetables that are fresh.
