In the first reading for module #3, Feltmate argues humour is derived from three elements: tension relief (ie. comedy reduces tension between groups), superiority (ie. 'my group' is better than 'your group'), and incongruity (ie. a particular religious identity is incompatible with 'my identity'). Which of these things do you think is most reflected in the Simpsons episode we watched called 'The Joy of Sect'? Why?
