Assuming there is no association between baked, boiled or mashed potatoes and hypertension, list 3 explanations (i.e. sources of error, bias, or confounding) that would explain the increased risk of hypertension among consumers of baked boiled or mashed potatoes. Describe in explanation how a spurious association could have occurred.

Part 2 (Attenuation of Relative Risk). Assuming that potato chip consumption does in fact increase risk of hypertension, list 3 explanations (i.e. sources of error, bias, or confounding) that would explain the observed null association between potato chips and hypertension. Provide clear description of how each explanation could have biased the results to the null.
