Elastic modulus of concrete,

\({E_C} = 5000 \times \sqrt {{f_{ck}}} \)

where,

fck = grade of concrete

Long term elastic modulus of concrete

\({E_θ } = \frac{{{E_c}}}{{1 + θ }}\)

θ = creep coefficient

__Calculation:__

Modulus of elasticity as per IS 456: 2000 is given by

\(E = 5000\sqrt {25} = 25000\;MPa = 25\;GPa\)
