Most of us interact with information technology (IT) throughout the day, although we may not always be aware of it. some uses of IT are relatively obvious, such as using email or surfing the Web. Others are not readily apparent, such as texting a friend or using a debit card. Your assignment is to go one half day (six hours when you are awake) without using any information technology or imagine such a scenario and then write a short paper reflecting on the experience. Here are a few of the things you won’t be able to use: Facebook, email, or the Web (Don’t even turn on computer), Text messaging, Debit or credit cards, smartphone applications and many others.

         Prepare a one-to-two page paper that addresses the following questions:

1.       What did you learn from your experience?

2.       What technology was the most difficult to live without?

3.       What kinds of tasks (as a student) were the most difficult to complete without technology?
