x+y=5......i

2x+3y=10.....ii

Multiply eq i by 3

3x+3y=15.......kii

Subtract ii from iii we get

X=5

Now put x=5 in eq I

5+y=5

y=5-5=0

Hence x=5 and y=0 is the solution
