I need help understanding the Inverse Square Law for Light.. so I have a question stating that Star A is 4x as luminous as Star B, and Star A is 4x the distance from Star B. The question is how do the apparent brightnesses compare. I think the answer is Star A is 1/4 the apparent brightness as Star B but I'm not sure.
