It is now a little historical, but think back one of the highlights of 2016, was the World Series between two teams who had not been in a series since, almost no one could remember!  But let's look a the stats.

Look at the win loss for the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians.  The Chicago Cubs have played 21,056 games.  They have won 10,711 games and lost 10,188, for a 51% win to 49% loss.  The Cleveland Indians have play 18,119 games, won 9,191 and lost 8,837 for a 51% win to 49% loss record.  Repeated trials in a fair game binomial converge on the Normal of Empirical distribution.  We are only interest in the game as long as we are unsure of the outcome.  Like a coin toss each team faces a 50/50 chance of winning.
