Statistics homework due

1.      WRITE DOWN 30 NUMBERS BETWEEN 1 AND 100  (NO REPEATS)

2.      LOTTERIES USE RANDOM NUMBERS.  SO, USE THE RANDOM NUMBERS PAGE BELOW (OR IF YOU USE EXCEL USE "RANDBETWEEN")  TO GENERATE 30 RANDOM NUMBERS BETWEEN 1 AND 100  (AGAIN, NO REPEATS).  IF YOU USE THE TABLE, START ANYWHERE BUT THEN REMEMBER TO USE A SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO PICK THE 30 NUMBERS (EXPLAIN YOUR "SYSTEM").

3.      CALCULATE THE MEAN, VARIANCE AND STANDARD DEVIATION FOR BOTH SETS OF NUMBERS

NOW, LET'S SEE WHAT THESE SETS LOOK LIKE.

4.      GROUP BOTH SETS OF NUMBERS INTO THE TYPICAL RANGES OF 1-10, 11-20, ETC.

5.      HAND DRAW A DISPLAY FOR EACH SET OF NUMBERS (YOUR CHOICE) THAT YOU FEEL BEST SHOWS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOUR NUMBER PICKS AND THE RANDOM NUMBERS.

SO, HOW DO YOU INTERPRET WHAT YOU SEE FROM THE STATISTICS YOU CALCULATED (MEAN, ETC.) AND THE VISUAL DEPICTION OF THE TWO SETS OF DATA?
