Gallup provides scientific polls based on a sound and well-tested sampling strategy.  In a recent poll of American's views regarding global warming, Gallup found that approximately 57% of Americans believe that humans are to blame for global climate change.

This is a short essay assignment.  All short essays submitted for this course should be written in complete sentences and full paragraphs, each with a coherent beginning, middle, and end.  A rule of thumb for short essay lengths is 2-3 full sentences per question. 

So, Number 1 below consists of 3 separate questions.  Following the rule of thumb, the short essay answer to this question would consist of 6 to 9 full sentences organized into 1 or 2 complete and internally coherent paragraphs.

Read the survey methods section at the bottom of the page.  Utilize the standard error numbers provided to evaluate whether having a college degree is likely to significantly influence a person's opinion regarding global warming and climate change.  Do the same to evaluate whether one's political affiliation is likely to significantly influence a person's opinion regarding global warming and climate change.  Which factor has the most influence on our opinions and why?
  3. the paper should be about 1 to 2 pages.
